No HIV/AIDS patient at Be Well will ever need to forego or delay necessary treatment due to an inability to pay.
If you’re in financial difficulty and are concerned about how you will pay your medical expenses, please understand that you can be open and honest about it with us and we will work with you. Our providers, our billing experts, our Care Manager Keyuna Nance, and everyone here will treat you with respect and see to it that you are connected with the necessary resources, whether it be Medicaid, private insurance, reduced cost or no cost prescriptions offered by pharmaceutical companies in cases of need, or some other solution.
A key payor of last resort for HIV/AIDS patients is the Ryan White Program.
The Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program is the largest federal program designed specifically for people living with HIV/AIDS in the United States. For people who cannot otherwise pay their medical expenses, the Ryan White Program will provide the funds needed for primary medical care, medications, and essential support services.
This is a huge program (over half of the people diagnosed with HIV/AIDS in the United States receive at least some assistance through the program), and a highly successful one (people who receive assistance through the program actually do better on average than those who do not). If you’re in need, it’s here for you, and we’re here for you.
