Dr. Paul Benson, the Director of the Be Well Medical Clinic, knew from early in his training to be a physician what area of medicine fit him best. “I have always desired to be a generalist so I could provide a long-term continuum of care to men, women, and children of all ages. This is one of the main reasons I chose the helping profession of medicine.”
That’s what a family doctor is: A generalist who cares for patients from birth throughout their lives, and who cares for all members of a family. As a family medicine practice, Be Well is about establishing and maintaining lifelong relationships, emphasizing preventive medicine, monitoring your health regularly to forestall problems, being there for you through all your health ups and downs, always taking the long view of what care you need.
Dr. Benson — board-certified in Family Medicine — and the Be Well team are warm, caring, experienced, qualified health care professionals who know that keeping you well when you’re healthy is every bit as important as treating you when you are not.
There’s a great deal that we can handle right here in the office. Come to us for your regular wellness visits, immunizations, flu shots, school medical examinations, sprains and breaks, cut and scrapes. We’ll take a close look at that cold to make sure it isn’t a more serious upper respiratory infection.
With on-site state-of-the-art digital X-ray and dexa scan equipment, an on-site lab and skilled technicians, and Dr. Benson’s decades of experience as an expert diagnostician, we’ll investigate just what’s going on with you when you have a problem. Through it all we will never forget that medicine is about dealing with thinking, feeling, individual persons, not just the physical conditions of human bodies, so there will always be an emphasis on compassion and communication.
And for anything we can’t provide in-house, we have an extensive referral network of excellent, caring physician specialists and sub-specialists in all areas of medicine to call on.
